The International Forgemasters Meeting (IFM), founded in 1954, is held every three years. It is hosted and organized by industrial associations from all over the world and related large forging enterprises. The representatives mainly come from Europe, Asian countries and a wide range of countries worldwide. The main contents include technology, process, equipment, market, materials, enterprise management and operation, as well as various contents related to free forging (or large forgings).
IFM Steering Committee is an international organization whose main task is to supervise the holding of the International Forgemasters Meeting. Members come from forging organizations or enterprises in developed countries for large forgings. The current members come from Austria, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States and China.
